I discovered bartending in the fall of 2012 as a bartender in prominent bars in Izmir. I was underage and ethically I will not include this experiences to my CV. With guidance from experienced mentors and my commitment to learning, I advanced to captain and chief positions in a short time. I also co-organized large-scale events under my company, enhancing my skills in administration, management, and leadership while overseeing teams of up to 60 people.
In 2015, I focused on my university studies, pausing my professional career except for summer work. I was madly enthusiastic for my courses but level of education never satisfied me so I literally lived in the library of my faculty, reading and writing all the books I can. When I learned how to properly make research and writing academic texts, I started to write my own academic articles but I kept them for myself, never published them. I started to learn Latin to widen my research pool, still try to improve myself on that matter. Some of the teachers we have, hardly knew English so I started to make translations for them and of course I made translations for my own. One of them was Medieval Europe A Short History from Charles Warren Hollister and Judith MacKenzie Bennett.
Apart from my academic life, I must state that I did not start my business life due to financial needs or concerns. The work experience that started accidentally for me has taken a big place in my life. Even leaving my busy and active work life, which I like, for starting university has been a very difficult turn for me. The pleasure I get while doing the job I love is based on my business principles. When we combine empathy, understanding, respect, love, and support-oriented relationships with a didactic, determined, selfless and solution-oriented working style, the aura that emerges carries the functioning and success of the entire operation incredibly far in a positive sense, and this is my fuel. Now I continue my academic and business life simultaneously.
Thank you for your time.
