My CAS coordinator role includes:

• Managing CAS portfolio of more than 300 IB students each year,
• Ensuring that parents are fully informed about importance, rationale and requirements for CAS,
• Choosing and training volunteer CAS advisors,
• Introducing CAS programme requirements to new cohort every year,
• General management of Managebac software (supporting teachers and students when necessary),

My IBDP Coordinator Assistant role includes:

• Assisting IBDP coordinator with all parts of extended essay process, assisting in allocating supervisors,
• Supporting students with enquiries and concerns
• Translation of IB-related materials and e-mails into Turkish for Turkish speaking IB teachers
• Supporting IBDP coordinator in IB evaluation process
• Supporting DP Coordinator during Mock and IB exams

• Eleven years of teaching experience including middle and high school level ICT courses in Koç School. Additionally, have been teaching IB Computer Science courses for past 10 years, and recently qualified as IB CS examiner.
• 9 years of experience as Extended Essay supervisor. My supervisory roles include content, process-oriented, and methodological supervision on topics from various sub-disciplines of Computer Science.
• “Award leader” experience in coordinating students in "Duke of Edinburgh Award" program
• Supervising experiences for students to achieve their goals in various extracurricular activities, students clubs, CAS projects, and CAS experiences.
• Experience in planning and organizing successful domestic/international school trips in accordance with Ministry of National Education (MoNE) obligations and school rules.
• Over 10 years of experience in using various Learning Management Systems as teacher and student. I have been contributing to maintenance of Koç School Virtual Learning Environment Moodle for past 9 years. I am competent in handling administrative tasks in Moodle and Managebac.
• There have been situations where I should have been in contact with large number of teachers, students, and parents due to additional duties I take at Koç School voluntarily. I’ve been able to manage any problem I’ve ever encountered in any situation. Unless issue required superior’s approval to make decision about specific solution, I have always been able to find solution on my own.
