Other than routine marine superintendent duties such as ;

-follow up vessel certificates and arrange related service arrangements,

-evaluation of vessel monthly ISM documents and give feedback,

-monitor vessel daily works,

-follow up PMS related to deck works,

-Updating Q88 and HVPQ,

-Contact with class and/or flag authority in case of necessity,

I also behaved as HSEQ superintendent which includes below duties ;

-Managing the safety of the vessels,

-Follow up and implementation of Flag an International requirements,

-Evaluation of SMS and recommend any changes and updates,

-Coordinate established safety training on board ships,including travel and reports,

-Monitoring Port State Control performance & trends, taking appropriate action as required.

-Maintaining manuals concerning Navigation,Training an Pollution Prevention,

-Assist in the Investigation of accidents, incidents and near-misses,

-Follow up vessel vetting requirement as per c/p and keep vessel always ready for any 3rd party inspections,update and maintain requisite inspection records

-Monitoring and evaluate of vessels SIRE Vetting condition. Liaised with the vessels ,agents and the inspecting company to ensure planned inspection completed positively.

-Circulate vetting broadcast and safety bulletins providing requisite guidance to the fleet to improve fleet vetting performance

-Vessel attendance for various audits,such as ;internal audit, navigational audit , superintendent check , ISM/SMS/MLC audit.

Worked as chief officer on various size of vessel (5000-10000 dwt chemical tanker)

Worked as chief officer on various size of vessel ( 20000 DWT chemical tankers)

Worked as both safety and navigational officer on various size of vessel ( 5000-20000 DWT chemical tankers)
