I have been working at Başkent Doğal Gaz, a natural gas operation, distribution and maintenance company, since 2018. During this time, I have worked in various units in a curious and devoted way in order to improve myself in the best way. In order to list my job statuses and share my experiences, first of all;

INTERIOR PLUMBING; According to the company procedure, the distribution company is responsible for bringing the natural gas connection to the entrance of the house. After the regulator connection, it belongs to the customer. Since the conditions are like this, the customer is responsible for the installation after the regulator connection. My duty there is to check the project compliance of the installation in question, the connection of the burning devices and whether there is a gas leak in the installation. At the same time, if there is a leak in the installation, I will fix it and inform the customer about the healthiest use of natural gas. In order to fulfill my duties, I received a certificate of the training I received from the vocational qualification institution assigned by the country I am in, by taking the interior installation construction and control training. after this period, I gained the skills of regulator assembly, meter assembly and installation.

· INFRASTRUCTURE; When necessary, I took part in the quality control of the lines produced within the scope of new investments in the company I was in, the connection process, the depth and safety of the lines. In this process, I gained my experiences and knowledge on the depth of the excavation, the quality and leak-proofness of the welding, the quality of the peding covered on the line, the warning tape placed on the pipe in case of a possible unauthorized excavation and the closure of the excavation. While I was working in this status, considering that polyethylene lines were damaged in unconscious and unauthorized excavations, I documented the polyethylene pipe welding certificate with the trainings I received from the vocational qualification institution. Based on this, I minimized possible accidents and damages since I had the authority to intervene in possible line damages on site and urgently.

· OPERATION MAINTENANCE OPERATOR; During my term of duty, I worked on maintenance and repair at Rms A, Rms B and Rms C stations. These works included leakage control, filter change, meter change, as well as input-output pressure control, input-output temperature control, cubic meters per second, and thus, the most ideal gas usage was provided to the customer.

SCADA and AUTOMATION; While working in this unit, I was mostly responsible for cathodic protection. In the works carried out, we worked to prevent corrosion and rust in steel pipes going underground. At the same time, we protected caisson passages and cross passages. While these protections were provided with deep wells and transformer rectifiers in steel pipes, the passages were protected with magnesium anodes. During the works, we eliminated the current leakage and rust effect with hot insulators on damaged pipe insulations.

During the work carried out, the line was monitored with Line Marker-Aerial Marker-Measurement Box assemblies and potential protection measurements were taken by measuring the current on the pipe.

I was also responsible for setting up remote monitoring systems. Troubleshooting electrical and electronic faults in these systems was also among my duties.
