With over 11 years of experience in the defense, aerospace, and manufacturing sectors, I have developed a strong expertise in leading engineering projects, from design to execution. I have successfully managed and coordinated cross-functional teams, ensuring that each project meets customer specifications and international standards. My core competencies include mechanical design, system integration and process optimization, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality machines and systems.
Technical Manager with 11 years of experience in the defense and aerospace sectors, specializing in providing turnkey solutions for machinery and production lines. I am responsible for organizing R&D and product development activities, ensuring effective coordination of engineering teams, and overseeing end-to-end processes including design, assembly, commissioning, and testing. My role involves monitoring and identifying improvement needs within these processes and ensuring that necessary changes are properly integrated into the products.
As a Project Responsible, I held full responsibility for the end-to-end processes of an ammunition manufacturing facility. During this process, I ensured that the project met the contractual requirements and specifications. I coordinated with both internal engineering teams and external suppliers, assigning tasks to ensure the successful delivery of all machinery and necessary specifications. I was also responsible for tracking and controlling the outputs from these teams and suppliers.
The manufacturing facility, covering an area of approximately 20,000 square meters, carries out all stages of production, including manufacturing, quality control, surface treatments, painting, and packaging.
As Design Department Manager, I was responsible for overseeing the design processes of machines such as flowform spinning, shear form, swaging presses, specifically for the defense and aerospace sectors. My role included ensuring that the design teams created machines in compliance with contract requirements and developed designs that met acceptance criteria. I was also responsible for reviewing and controlling the designs to ensure they adhered to all necessary standards.
I led the entire machine design process in-house, which included creating both 3D and 2D designs, performing finite element analysis (FEA) on these designs, and conducting field tests to validate them. Additionally, part of my responsibilities involved managing effective communication and coordination between different departments to ensure alignment and successfully bring teams together towards a common goal.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, my primary responsibility was to design machines that incorporated hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems. Each project had unique requirements based on customer specifications, meaning we worked in a highly customized manner to meet their needs. Our tasks included designing machines in compliance with international standards, selecting components, designing mechanisms, performing calculations, and managing testing and validation activities.
I worked extensively with both 3D and 2D designs, conducting finite element analysis (FEA) for simulations. I frequently presented my machine designs to various engineering teams within the company for review and feedback. Ultimately, I was responsible for ensuring the machines functioned properly and met the required performance standards.
During my internship, I had the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers, gaining hands-on experience in the design and development processes.
