• Examines import documents to verify conversion of material/product weights, volume and price.
• Reviews Customs Broker Invoices for data correctness, annotates reference numbers and approves Invoices.
• Manage Customer orders from receipt to delivery and coordinate movement of the shipment with forwarder and keep the customer well informed of any changes.
• Manages, guides, directs import/export operations and international and local trade - related compliance programs
• Monitor Local Customs Community Directives and follow up CE device regulations, aligning business process to comply with changing requirements and interface with government authorities as required.
• Manage export and import license application processes when needed.
• Follow up customs clearance administrative procedures in the customs zone of origin/destination.
• Managing foreign transportation processes between the third party firms and transit shipments.
• Follow up and prepare the payment list by sharing with Finance department in order to organize payment to related transport company.
• Create reports in line with the export sales and import order and report regularly to related manager weekly and monthly.

• Act as the -import expert- and as such will audit, analyse, and document correctness of information to ensure smooth product flow and follow compliance with Turkey customs regulations.
• Monitoring and updating the changes of customs legislation and applications.
• Receive details of the ordered goods from the purchase department along with the vendor details and ask date of delivery of goods and record these details in department's software system as well.
• Track the shipment's progress and ensure orderliness and timeliness in transit of goods.
• Coordinate activities with our custom broker, transporters and ensure completion of all necessary documentation, permissions and other legal aspects.

• Preparation of relevant documents related to import and export procedures.
• Thoroughly aware of customs documentation procedures(E-Clearance)
• Follow up procedures and receive/issue the import-export documents before/after the cargo arrival and make the necessary arrangements with custom agents in order to clear/send the goods on time to avoid unnecessary cost such as storage, line demurrage charges and overtime pay for customs process.
• Responsible for credit memos, credit letters and product objections along with return approvals.
• Coordinate with warehouse & logistics department about the cargo quantity and packing list and inform customers about shipment date.
• Prepare export and import reports as monthly, semi-annual and annual with detail graphics.

• Make a simultaneous translating (EN-TR-EN) during business negotiations and various fair trips.
• Perform a telephone, fax and e-mail traffic with company's foreign firms.
• Carry out necessary price quotes and governmental tenders with the recommendation on order terms.
• Participate to company export manager's dealer visit in middle east countries and taking necessary notes during visiting then presenting these notes to related manager in meeting.

• Responsible of whole operation process both import air/ocean shipments.
• Coordinating the agency teams and be aware of all different steps of the import shipments including quotations.
