I have been working in the automation sector since my student years, participating in various projects where I developed enhancements in Level 1 and Level 2 areas according to the ISA95 standard. Particularly, I have been involved in PLC programming and SCADA development in significant projects such as ICA, Solarpack (ongoing), and Hyundai. I have gained experience in critical infrastructure projects like metro lines and ventilation systems. Alongside my technical skills, I have effectively participated in all stages of industrial automation and achieved successful outcomes in projects due to my solution-oriented approach
I participated in the Hyundai Assan Paintshop Smart SCADA Project with Ignition, where I configured and programmed modules for Mitsubishi PLC, Jumo PLC, Canary Historian, Kepware, and MOXA devices. Concurrently, I established communication between Ignition and these devices. Additionally, I analyzed SCADA signals from Indusoft & Mitsubishi GOT and imported them into the Ignition SCADA. Furthermore, I designed symbols and screens incorporating alarming tags.
Currently, I am involved in the Solarpack SCADA Project with Ignition, focusing on integrating PowerStudio.
Key qualifications gained:
During this internship, we successfully completed the ICA Northern Marmara Motorway project. I utilized the Modbus TCP/IP protocol for Movicon.Next, Codesys, and ABB Control Builder programs. My team was responsible for editing PLC configurations, creating displays, and implementing handshaking. Additionally, I worked in the field for this project, establishing connections for transformer buildings, transformer cubicles, and toll booths.
Furthermore, I facilitated communication between ABB RTU 500 and ABB PM563 for data read and write operations. In the final weeks of my internship, I worked on the ventilation system construction for the Istanbul Airport-Gayrettepe subway line. I programmed a segment of the project for several stations and participated in tests for TVF and EXF sides at Atakoy-Ikitelli and Masko-Bahariye subway stations.
I had the opportunity to work with DCS (Ovation Emerson) applications. Additionally, I collaborated with the I&C department in repairing contactors, actuators, valves, transmitters, and other sensors when they malfunctioned. This internship provided valuable insights into the operation of power generation systems and their control.
I developed strong relationships with peers and mentors, fostering a collaborative work environment conducive to learning and growth. I also gained experience in Elevator Electronics, Operating CNC, Lathe, and Router programming
