- Roein Sazeh Hooshmand is a pioneer Iranian company specializing in the manufacturing of complex and High-tech metal parts using additive manufacturing of metals through the Selective Laser Melting (SLM) method.
- My main responsibilities included process design and preparation for printing, choosing the orientation of parts for printing, repair files for printing, adding material allowance, designing supports, packing batches, and slicing files for printing.
- I experienced in estimating time and cost for the SLM method for each part.
- I worked on various projects and productions with different applications and materials, including those in the power plant and aerospace sectors. Materials that i dealt with included TI64, IN718, and SS 316. I have opportunity to Manufacture more than thirty different kind of parts such as GEF9 and Hitachi H25 Fuel Nozzle (swirler), Aero-engine
Titanium Brackets, Compressor Impeller, Bearing Housing Body, Turbocharger Compressor, Turbine Wheel, Aero-engine parts, etc. - I operated SLM devices such as Noura M300 and Nora M120 machines.
- Also i worked with post-process machines such as EDM, tumbling, and laser marking machines and some got familiar with some outsourcing processes for instance machining, sandblasting, heat treatment furnace, bead blasting, etc.
- Developed a deep understanding of the SLM process and the ability to handle diverse and complex projects and materials efficiently and effectively.
- Performed SLM process simulations on Aero-engine Titanium Brackets with Autodesk Netfabb Local Simulation App.
