Ms Mutlu Adısönmez worked as Immigration Advisor at CSS & Co Legal Services and was responsible for

• Providing support to London-based migrants and refugees by phone, email, face-to-face, and video-calls regarding Immigration Law, Human Rights Law, British Nationality Law, legal protection, and EEA laws by engaging with multiple stakeholders
• Responding to immigration enquiries using pre-set business templates and preparing applications to be submitted to the UKVI both in-country and overseas
• Keeping up to date with changes in Immigration/Asylum law by reading, attending training events and using a computer for reference purposes

Ms Mutlu Adısönmez worked as Volunteer FGM Researcher at Tanzania Development Trust and was responsible for

• Mapping rural Tanzania into OpenStreetMap from satellite images under Crowd2Map Tanzania Project to fight against Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and to help community development
• Supporting other grassroots organisations in rural Tanzania, such as Hope for Girls and Women Tanzania to use maps and data collection to make themselves more effective as capacity development

Ms Mutlu Adısönmez worked as Refugee Support Worker at TAD and was responsible for:

• Supporting Syrian refugee women from diverse backgrounds on social life integration after post-war traumas including the matters related to domestic violence
• Providing effective crisis intervention, carry out risk assessments, safety planning, assessment of needs and individual support planning with my supervisor(s)
• Working with high-risk victims of domestic abuse to help them access services to keep them and their children safe
