Serhat Arda ŞAHİN

• As the aerodynamics team leader, we represent our country in international Formula Student competitions under the name ITU Racing Team. Within this team, I am responsible for designing the aerodynamic components of our Formula racing car (front wing, rear wing, undertray, sidepod) using design software such as Catia, Solidworks, and Fusion 360, and conducting structural and fluid analysis using Ansys software. I am also involved in the production process of the parts that undertray design and analysis.

• At ITU Composites Laboratory, I assist during the manifacture of composites with the mechanical and thermal properties necessary to be used in the design of nanocomposite materials.

• As the ITU racing team, we manufactured the body and aerodynamic parts of our racing car “DT Beelectric 02”, prepared for the competition in 2022, at Baykar Technologies. During this stage, I took an active role as the team leader.

• During my internship at THY Flight Academy, I took part in the preparation of aircraft maintenance packages and the planning of future flights.

• Investigated design failures in field to determine necessary corrections in future iterations.

I working in the team responsible for conducting structural analyses of the Hürjet and Hürkuş aircraft at Turkish Aerospace Industries, Turkey's largest defense industry company.
