Managing team of 11 people in total, consisting of Engineering, Laboratory and Innovation teams in R&D Technical Center

General responsibilities are as follows:

• Executing and completing new projects for automotive plastic parts
• Planning, managing and completing technical projects
• Communicating with customers and suppliers
• Preparing technical reports and presentations
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members
• Solving technical problems and developing innovative solutions
• Ensuring compliance with technical standards and procedures
• Planning for the development of the team and presenting it to the management
• Providing the training that the team needs to receive as internal training
• Review and approve 3D-2D and documents

R&D and Innovation:

• Initiating, directing, and completing R&D and innovation projects
• Leading the development of new products and services
• Keeping up with technological trends and ensuring the company adapts to these trends
• Protecting intellectual property rights
• Preparation of annual activity reports and R&D center audit preparations and present as a manager.
• Team Management:
  • Managing and motivating engineering and technical teams
  • Ensuring collaboration and coordination between teams
  • Conducting employee performance evaluations

• I am Level 3 Engineering Leader in Novares and responsible for design, development and all engineering works of Air Intake Manifold and Air Intake Systems which is engine part of Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi vehicles
• Since I am the only engineer involved in this project in Turkey, I am working on the project together with the French office
• I am in France and Belgium for this project, usually 1 week every month
• Making plastic part designs via CATIA V5, filling in documents such as DFMEA GD&T, PFMEA, SCSS, IMDS, CF Design, DV-PV Plan and many similar automotive documents
• Meetings such as customer meetings, mold supplier meetings, etc
• At the same time, I ensure that all product development activities are carried out smoothly by being involved in the projects of other engineers involved in product development
• Participating in production trials, deciding on the quality of parts, ensuring that documents such as MAP - Tuning Anticipation are filled out, discussing the necessary improvements with the team and determining improvements in design, mold, etc., following up on production processes and reporting the necessary improvements to the teams.

I have been working as a product development engineer in the R&D department of a global company that has been working on automotive lighting systems for more than three year. While working as a product engineer, I perform the following tasks;

• Making various car lighting mechanical designs according to customer specifications.

• Working with CAE team to do required analyzes, interpreting these analyzes.

• Checking the mold flow analysis at design stage and to do or have design update ıf required, mutual agreement with the customer according to this result.

• Making prototypes design and producing it from 3D Printer (with FDM-Poly jet-DLP etc. technology.) I am also lots of experience for 3D Printer.

• Preparing, reading and tracking technical documents such as DFMEA, GD&T, SCSS, BOM, GDIF, TDR etc.

• Getting the right products by working in cooperation with departments such as project, quality, production, tooling. Also, managing CAD engineers and preparing product data according to customer expectations. Preparation of 3D and 2D data according to customer requests and company requirement. Also preparing the 3D Technical drawing with FTA.

• To have project based meetings with the customer, making abroad visits if necessary and I carry out tasks such as solving all open issues with a customer focus. Among the projects I have been carrying out these duties are many reflex reflectors, CHMSL, fog lamp, signal lamps, side marker, tail lamp, grill lamp etc.

• Ford - CHMSL, Bronco Rear Reflex, Side marker, HL and RL(Team member) projects.

• I started my career as a mechanical design engineer at a company that manufactures transformer tanks and is a sub supplier of companies such as GE, Schneider, ABB-Hitachi, Vonroll.
• Afterwards 8 mounth, I took a responsiblity as the leader of a team of 6 people. Worked as a team for with making designs, creating cutting orders, preparing 2D drawings via Autocad and Inventor.
