Summary

I have started to work at Turkish Aerospace Industry as a design engineer at 2003. Design Leader, Engineering Leader, Integrated Project Leader are my positions respectively. I am experienced in managing of project from starting to completion. I am experienced in implementation of new technologies to aircraft components. Also I have been working on research and development projects for part production technologies with composites (Thermosets, Thermoplastics, RTM, AFP, stamp forming, Welding, overmoulding etc.). I have deep knowledge at Airbus rules, specifications, processes and applications.

At the end of my 21 years of working life, I think I have the following management skills:

  • To coordinate cross-functional teams for seamless execution of A350-900 Ailerons design & build projects.
  • Execution of the engineering activities of the undertaken product development projects in accordance with the program schedule, cost, performance and quality targets
  • Calculation of the required resource needs and ensure that the engineering manpower is used properly, within budget
  • Supporting the serial A350-900 Ailerons deliveries and give an engineering support after delivery
  • Integrating and to guarantee that the requirements (Ailerons FWPS) are clearly identified for engineering team
  • Ensuring that decisions are taken in agreement with the Multi- Functional team members and with the objective to find the best solution for the program
  • Ensuring that the Certification / Qualification for A350-900 Ailerons deliverables will be validated (VV) on Engineering axis
  • To approve engineering data (technical report, drawing, 3D model, etc.) / authorize compliance with the project
  • Achieving a design that meets all applicable airworthiness and environmental qualification aspects, and complies with agreed maintenance and use standards set by the customer / user

Airbus Wing of Tomorrow –Thermoplastic Spoiler

  • This project’s aim to design and build of spoiler demonstrators (only for left-hand wing) in a given aero shape and given interface points and associated loads, using the TUSAŞ’S own R&T-innovations and technologies
  • Top level targets for this demonstration: High rate production capability, Optimized Recurring Cost (RC) competitive weight & performance against conventional definition, make use of digitalisation and industry 4.0 approaches
  • The spoilers have been designed and planned to be able to manufactured with thermoplastic material in new generated technologies (Welding, stamp forming etc.)

-Thermoplam

This project’s aim to develop thermoplastic aircraft parts in TUSAŞ. Main goal is being capable to design, analyze, manufacture and generate certification dossiers of thermoplastic aircraft parts,

The design and analysis guidelines, the manufacturing specifications and process specifications were prepared during the project according to performed test and manufacturing trails.

-Composite Materials Allowable Generation Project

This project’s aim is to generate design allowables for selected composite materials for using these materials at indigenous projects.

Responsibilities mainly consisted of;

  • Integrating and guarantee that the requirements (incorporating lesson learnt) are clearly identified (Ailerons FWPS) on Design & Stress axis prior to cascade them to lower level
  • Supporting the component troubleshooting up to the component delivery for what regards A350-900 Ailerons Design & Stress
  • Ensuring that decisions are taken in agreement with Function Policy and with the objective to find the best solution for the program while keeping neutral and transnational oriented
  • Ensuring that the Certification / Qualification for A350-900 Ailerons deliverables will be validated (VV) on Design & Stress axis
