Rabia Nur Meşe Koyunsever

I am currently working at the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye, within the Directorate General for International Agreements and the EU, specifically in the Department of the EU Single Market and the Green Deal. Our unit is responsible for coordinating Türkiye’s alignment with the European Green Deal policies. My work primarily focuses on the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), particularly on emissions-related regulations, energy financing, and transport-related climate policies. I regularly monitor and analyze EU legislation and policy developments in these areas, contribute to interinstitutional coordination, and support the preparation of national responses and technical inputs to the European Commission.

I worked in the Capital Markets Department at İşbank, where I was responsible for managing the settlement of international securities transactions. My role included executing and monitoring cross-border trade settlements, coordinating with international custodians and counterparties, and ensuring timely and accurate post-trade operations. I supported daily transaction flows for equities and bonds, resolved settlement issues, and contributed to the smooth functioning of back-office processes in compliance with global market practices.
