- As a result of the occupational safety studies in which I contributed from 2011 to 2018, the frequency of serious or fatal occupational accidents decreased significantly. Between 2013 and 2015, I was one of the 20 emissaries selected by our board of directors. Among hundreds of engineers for the execution of the 'Technical Assistance for Structure and Capacity Improvement of Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation' project (EU Twinning Project) carried out within the scope of the National Programme for Türkiye 2009 under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance. Also, I was the leader of one of the five groups in this twinning project (Safety Equipment Group). As a twinning project group leader, within my team, I researched and investigated, determined recent and new safety equipment and PPEs that would be used by TEİAŞ teams for harmonization with the new approach.
- Prepared procedures and instructions, which include usage, maintenance, testing, selection, allocation, technical specifications, and requirements about equipment and PPEs. Also, submit documents to the Board of Directors for approval. I led my team in cooperation and coordination with other work groups and European partners. In the twinning project, I was also a member of the Risk Management Group.
- Between 2011 and 2018, I worked as an Operational Health and Safety Specialist and safety unit leader of TEİAŞ 2nd Regional Directorate. My responsibilities and work areas in the OHS Unit are almost the same as my responsibilities in the twinning project. The main difference is that this assignment was regional, but the Twinning Project's duties scope covers all regions of TEİAŞ and aims for standardization between regions.

- I improved the maintenance and test ratio of high voltage equipment by approximately 30% and reduced equipment faults by 50% in my first three years. I had been the first engineer who applied thermal camera control to electrical transmission lines in Türkiye (year: 2010). Within this method, I had identified many damages and fault sources that were caught and fixed. So, I have prevented many electrical disruptions and outages.
- Planned and managed operations, preventive and corrective maintenance actions, coordinated power cut permissions, installation, protective relay automation, field tests, and several contractor works on high voltage (154 kV and 380 kV) lines, substation centers, and high voltage (7, 12, 17, 36, 170, 420 kV) equipment like power transformers, circuit breakers, surge arresters, and measurement transformers; I used a thermal camera, tested and examined high voltage transformers, circuit breakers, surge arresters, etc., determined faulty equipment, and fixed problems; reported and analyzed energy outages and faults. In the past, periodic testing and maintenance of some parts of the system could not be done, since power cuts could not be allowed. Although it was obligatory to inform my division, sometimes the installation works were done without informing us by the related division. I would intervene when I found out about such situations. Then, at these times, when a power outage permit is received, which is currently very difficult to obtain, I organized and accomplished the test and maintenance work.
