Ömer Derelioğlu

As a Captain in the Turkish Armed Forces, I serve as an Attack Helicopter Pilot, responsible for operating and maneuvering advanced military helicopters, such as the ATAK and Cobra, during combat missions. My role involves conducting reconnaissance, surveillance, and offensive operations against enemy targets while ensuring the safety and security of ground forces.

In addition to my piloting duties, I also excel as the Maintenance Officer for the assigned helicopters. I am responsible for conducting thorough pre-flight inspections, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the overall maintenance and readiness of the aircraft. I possess a strong understanding of helicopter systems, and my attention to detail ensures the optimal performance and safety of the helicopters under my care.

As a leader within my team, I demonstrate effective communication and coordination skills, ensuring seamless cooperation between co-pilots, gunners, and technicians. I maintain a high level of situational awareness, make critical decisions under pressure, and provide guidance to my team members during missions.
