Okay Fatih GUZEL

My name is Okay Fatih GUZEL. I live in Izmir, a port city in Türkiye, which has been a member of NATO since 1952, and I am currently studying at the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Manisa Celal Bayar University in Manisa, a city located near Izmir, where 100% of the courses are taught in English. Throughout my high school and university career, I have been closely interested in NATO and its developments. One of my main goals is to intern at this powerful and dynamic alliance, which my country has been a member of since the Korean War, to take an active role in various missions, and to consult on strengthening relations with alliance member countries through cooperation and different perspectives. I am proficient in English and have a basic knowledge of French within NATO, and I also have an interest in the Russian language and culture. I believe I can be of assistance in this regard in relations with non-NATO member countries.

Due to my interest in the Cold War and World War II, I have read various books and articles on the subject and have given presentations and completed assignments on the topic. In addition, due to my interest in maps, I am familiar with the world map and have a good understanding of the locations of important countries and cities.
