Nurten Gizem Karakaya

As a 3rd-year Software Engineering student at Çankaya University, I possess a strong foundation in software development, problem-solving, and project management. I have gained fundamental knowledge in Java and C programming languages, along with coursework in Computational Thinking, Software Design, Algorithms, and Software Testing for Quality Assurance.
Additionally, my experience working as a Front-End Developer Intern at the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Turkey allowed me to enhance my skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.js while developing responsive and user-friendly interfaces. I collaborated with back-end developers and worked on UI/UX optimization to improve usability and performance.
Furthermore, my experience as a chef at Whalehead Brewery in the U.S. through the Work and Travel program helped me develop valuable communication and teamwork skills while interacting with people from diverse backgrounds.
I am eager to further enhance my technical knowledge and apply it to real-world software projects. With fluency in English and a strong desire to contribute to innovative solutions, I am seeking opportunities to grow professionally and contribute to dynamic and collaborative teams.
