Nisa Ertunç

As a senior pre-school teacher candidate at TED University, I set myself the goal of improving myself not only professionally but in every field. In this regard, I aimed to show that I can offer an equal life to everyone by taking an active role in communities in my school such as gender equality and equal opportunities for children. Thinking that integrating different cultures is important in this field, I had the opportunity to compare cultures and embrace different cultures by being in America in the summer of 2023 to have a good experience. I plan to use the education I have received to implement projects that aim to establish an equal order, especially for children, and to prevent bullying all over the world.

• By participating in the Ambassador Project organized at TED University, we supported the project outcome and its development for the following years. What can be done in the field of education was discussed. Ideas were developed to support those who will participate in the project in the following years. Within the scope of the project, ideas were exchanged with school principals and the university commission.
• Play Therapy training was completed and Certificate received
• Certificate received by completing stress management training.
• Intercultural Communication Teacher Conference was completed within the scope of the Intercultural Communication Training for Teachers Working in Turkey to Promote Sustainable Peace project with the support of Alumni Engagement and Innovation Fund.

Work and Travel Completing

• I discovered my country by experiencing it by tasting many cities and flavors of my own country.
• During my high school period, I had the chance to visit Switzerland and France and discover their history, food, culture and people.
• In the summer of 2023, I worked and traveled in New York, USA, for 4 months with the Work and Travel Program. I had the chance to see many different states
• I started my 2024 travels with Bosnia-Herzegovina and mastered its history.
