Since beginning my role on January 12, 2017, at the Ankara Metro Rail Maintenance Department, I am responsible for:

• I am responsible for the planning of the work of 5 engineers and 45 technicians reporting to me, and overseeing their performance assessments.
• Creating and overseeing maintenance records by considering standards, manufacturer recommendations, and operational experience for the equipment and assets under our unit’s responsibility.
• Inspecting the line and reporting solutions according to UIC-712R for the type of rail we use, UIC.
• Monitoring regular wear of rail profiles and planning and executing replacements.
• Tracking leveling and dressing defects in ballasted areas and performing tamping operations.
• Conducting MGT load calculations to manage periodic maintenance activities and troubleshooting.
• Responsible for drafting and presenting specifications as needed.
