As for the technical sides of my job title are listed below in detail:

  • To receive all style details(illustrations, measurement chart, washing/dyeing/printing details etc.) and examine tech/style file from customer in details and then after making clear, to pass alone to relevant departments (pattern room, washing/dyeing/printing house specialists etc.) , to order sampling fabric, trim..
  • To make preparation for price cost synchronously with above. Then advise price and lead time to customer.
  • When style is turn into order and receive PO (Purchase Order); to be checking price, lead time, shipment mode are correct ; then we start to production stages; firstly we order bulk fabric and trim (approved ones). we also want sample comments and translate them clearly for all departments.
  • To prepare revised fit sample and submit sample in very shortest time. Then examine on revised price cost according to revised sample comments ( consumption, workmanship may have increased or reduced).
  • To get sample/fit approval until planned approval, if not ; we need to re-plan production with Planning Department and if we need really, to ask for revised delivery after pushing limits and we have no other way to maintain delivery.
  • To get washing/dyeing/strike off/lab dip approval from customer.
  • If labels, trims are not from domestic suppliers, ordering them from Overseas suppliers and correspond all details and following details with also Trim Purchasing Department and following up payments with Financial Department.
  • To manage critical path and to send to customer every week steadily.
