I was bussing hard (killing it kind of). I truly saw how a small business works. The main thing I've learned there is the importance of doing everything in your job description well. It meant money for everyone working in the restaurant.

I was checking-out people, worked in the pharmacy section (did some technician work). This was my very first job in the US. I saw how Americans work, how they shop, how they care about coupons :)

What I've mainly learned from this job is how to please a customer (smile first), how to work within a team.
