During my summer internship, I gained hands-on experience working with APIs, focusing on Zoho People API integration, and Slack automation. I developed a solid understanding of API architecture, including REST and OAuth 2.0 for secure access using Postman. I successfully retrieved employee leave data by structuring GET requests with Zoho People API and implemented a Node.js solution to display the data. Additionally, collaborated with team members to design, develop, and launch a user-friendly software product.

During my time as Kitchen Lead at Schlitterbahn Waterpark, I managed kitchen operations, led a diverse team, and ensured food safety and customer satisfaction. My key responsibilities included coordinating daily tasks, maintaining health and safety standards, training new staff, managing inventory, and handling customer inquiries. This role helped me strengthen leadership and communication skills, work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and gain insights into the hospitality industry on an international level.

Being in unfamiliar settings and being thousands of miles away from home constituted a significant and unforgettable aspect of my personal development
