I graudated from Istanbul Techinacal University Merchant Marine Academy in 1997. Then I worked on position from deck officer to ocean going master on container vessels of Arkas Shipping till to year 2005. I worked on jops as marine superintendent and master of MV Bilim 2 research ship of Middle East Technical University for next two years. And I joined in pilotage team on marine departman of Mersin İnternational Port on february 2008.

Mıp is the Turkey’s largest container port and I have been working as harbour pilot in all ships arriving at the quays and piers in Mersin International Port Management Inc. Pilotage is provided to all types of vessels containers, general cargoes, project cargoes, Ro-Ro, dry bulk and liquid bulk, passenger and dry bulk. Maximum size of vessel berthed/unberthed is 368m LOA, 15m draft mega container vessels which call port of Mersin in every week.
