Reading Book

Hello, I’m Kerem. I currently live in Karabük, Turkey. Thanks to the high-quality education I received at a top-tier high school in my hometown, I have built a strong foundation in mathematics and physics. My passion for computers and technology began in my childhood, and it ultimately led me to pursue a degree in Computer Engineering at Manisa Celal Bayar University, where I am now a second-year student.
Completing an English preparatory program significantly enhanced my ability to interact with global resources and develop my projects to meet international standards. I am particularly focused on artificial intelligence and computer applications, and I am constantly working on projects to apply what I’ve learned in real-world scenarios.
I am deeply committed to continuously improving my knowledge and skills, and I firmly believe in the transformative power of technology. My goal is to create innovative solutions that improve lives. I am excited about the future and eager to contribute to a world filled with new technologies and groundbreaking innovations.
This academy is supported by the Turkish Entrepreneurship Foundation, the Ministry of Industry and Technology and some other institutions, and has been providing scholarships to 2000 technology enthusiasts every year for 4 years, enabling them to receive education. This academy has an 8-month training period and provides a certificate at the end of the training. As of this year, after my application was accepted at this academy, I became a scholar for the field of game development with artificial intelligence add-ons. I continue my training and improving myself.

Manisa Organized Industrial Zone Primary School Social Responsibility Project
As part of this social responsibility project, we visited the Manisa Organized Industrial Zone Primary School to provide technological support to both teachers and students. The primary goals of the project were to strengthen the school’s technical infrastructure and to increase students’ interest in technology. An interactive coding and gaming activity was conducted with the students.
Game Design: Mysterious Island
One of the highlights of the project was the game titled Mysterious Island, which was developed and played together with the students. The game was created using the Visual Basic language and .NET technology. It aims to enhance children’s skills in strategy, algorithms, mathematics, and memory.
Game Scenario:
The game revolves around an adventure where three explorer teams from four different countries compete to find a hidden treasure on a mysterious island. Each team is led by a "Coder," who develops strategies to guide their team to the correct clues and the ultimate goal. However, the time limit and the dangers of the island make the race even more exciting.
Objectives of the Game:
This project aimed to contribute to children’s preparation for the future by using technology as a fun and engaging learning tool. The happiness and excitement for learning on the students’ faces at the end of the event demonstrated the success of the project.

Football League Management System (Data Structures Course)
Project Description
In this project, we developed a Football League Management System that allows users to perform essential operations such as team management, player management, match simulation, and fixture generation. The system is designed to provide an interactive and realistic experience for managing a football league.
Project Features
Data Structures Used
To efficiently store and manage data, the following data structures were implemented:
✅ Linked List – Player management
✅ Binary Search Tree (BST) – Player search and storage
✅ Hash Table – Team management and fast access
✅ Stack – Storage of match results
✅ Queue – Sequential execution of matches
✅ Max-Heap – Sorting the leaderboard
⚡ Match Simulation and Algorithm
Match results are determined by the overall strength of teams and the individual performance of players. Key factors in the algorithm include shooting skills and goalkeepers' saving abilities, ensuring realistic and dynamic outcomes.
Through this project, we created an interactive and realistic football league management system. It also provided valuable experience in working with data structures and designing algorithms.
In the future, we aim to enhance the user experience by adding a graphical user interface (GUI) to the system.

Activities:
- 1st DOGE GameJam
- Unity Development Workshop
- Unreal Engine Development Workshop
- Blender 3D Modelling Camp (Online)
We organized our first gamejam event at the university last year and 7-8 teams participated. We also received participation from outside the university and it was a nice event attended physically.
This year, we organized workshops on Unity and Unreal Engine, and in these workshops, we tried to teach these game development tools to our participants at the beginner level.
Blender 3D Modeling Camp was a camp program focusing on Character Design from 0, which we planned as online lessons in 5 sessions. We received good feedback from our participants.
This term, we will organize our 2nd gamejam in February. This time we want it to be a more comprehensive and extensive gamejam.
