Summary

I have more than 30 years of experience in education and human services, with a background that ranges from teaching and instruction in languages, cultures, and historical studies to mentoring, coaching, and counseling in student services contexts. In K–12 settings, I worked in intercultural public diplomacy, ensuring diversity support and stakeholder access while offering institutional leadership in student services as dean of students and hearing official for discipline. Additionally, at the collegiate level, I worked on departmental goals in committee work, recruitment, as well as conference presentations and academic writing. At the corporate training and development level, I worked on ensuring compliance procedures, including quality assurance and improvement innovations, accreditation and certification leadership, and leading international teacher recruitment campaigns to meet corporate training needs. In all my endeavors, my work is done with an eye towards capacity-building and respect for diversity and inclusion of others.
