Kenan Demirel Aksu

My academic journey in psychology has been enriched by substantial clinical experiences across various mental health institutions in Istanbul. Through internships at Istanbul Erenköy Psychiatric Hospital, Haseki Training and Research Hospital, and a local rehabilitation and social life center, I had the opportunity to assist in psychological assessments, therapy planning, and patient evaluations. Additionally, I have volunteered in addiction rehabilitation programs, gaining further insight into therapeutic processes and patient support. These experiences, combined with my training in CBT, existential therapy, and psychoanalysis, have strengthened my motivation to pursue a master’s degree in clinical psychology in Germany, where I aim to broaden my clinical perspective and deepen my practical skills in a multicultural context.
