Pediatric Physiotherapist with over ten years of experience dedicated to assessing and treating neurological and genetic conditions in children. Completed the Ayres Sensory Integration Course in 2022, enhancing skills in sensory integration therapy. Proficient in collaborating within multidisciplinary teams, including speech therapists, special education teachers, audiologists, preschool teachers, and occupational therapists, which has fostered essential skills for working across various rehabilitation fields. Experienced in both hands-on physiotherapy practice and executive roles, seeking to advance career in pediatric physiotherapy in the U.K. that offers higher-level practice opportunities.
In our clinic, which we operate together, my wife, who is also a pediatric physiotherapist, and I assess children from both physiotherapy and sensory integration perspectives. We provide necessary therapeutic interventions and referrals as needed. In this clinic, we offer comprehensive physiotherapy and rehabilitation services utilizing methodologies such as Bobath, DMI, Perception Action, and Ayres Sensory Integration.
After ten years of experience, I served as the coordinator of the pediatric physiotherapy department at this rehabilitation centre. I conducted initial evaluations of new clients, developed treatment programs in collaboration with their assigned therapists, and closely monitored the clients' progress. Additionally, I provided guidance and support to junior physiotherapists to aid in their professional development.
At this institution, I served not only as an employee but also as a partner. In addition to my role as a pediatric physiotherapist, I undertook various executive responsibilities, including preparing educational documents to support the professional development of junior physiotherapists.
As in my previous two workplaces, I worked exclusively with children. Unlike my prior roles, however, I completed the Ayres Sensory Integration Course during my final year here and began focusing primarily on sensory integration sessions. Through this experience, I also gained expertise in working with children on the autism spectrum.
In this role, I began as a physiotherapist with four years of experience, working exclusively with pediatric patients for 1.5 years. I gained extensive experience with major neurological and genetic issues commonly seen in children and served as an authority in the assessment and treatment of these conditions. I was also responsible for determining the appropriate assistive devices for children as needed throughout the treatment process.
After graduating, I began working at this rehabilitation center specializing in the treatment of children with disabilities. Here, I had the opportunity to work alongside an experienced pediatric physiotherapist, which allowed me to learn the intricacies of the profession and gain my first experience in long-term patient follow-up.
During my time at the center, I had the opportunity to assess and treat a variety of neurological and genetic conditions, including cerebral palsy, spina bifida, brachial plexus injuries, spinal cord injuries, various ataxias, and Down syndrome.

I'm deeply into music. Especially rock'n roll and subgenres. To deep dive more I'm learning electric guitar. Also I'm pretty good at a traditional classic Turkish music instrument called ney which is a woodwind.
Also I'm a virtual aviation enthusiast. I love flaying general aviation aircrafts in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
