Lead the day-to-day operations of the ship, and ensure compliance with company procedures and industry regulations to ensure the safe operation of ships. In charge of a primary communications link with the Ship’s Master and is accountable for the monitoring of ship movements and cargo transfer operations. Also to assist with the planning of cargo intakes, liaising with Chartering & Marine Department, maintaining charterers contact, and responding to problems that may arise in the course of executing shipping operations.
- Supervising to Floating dock & Dry dock operations
- Ensuring the safe berthing and un-berthing operations of the shipyard
- Checking the docking plan and procedures which are developed by the shipyard and controlling them
- Supervising the dock crew during keel block arrangements
- Pilot coordination for ship maneuvers.
- Maintenance and repair of floating docks, tanks, keel blocks.
- Supervising to the dock crew during ship’s maintenance (Chain / anchor measurement, paint marking and lock / chain changes, propeller rope protection, rudder welding works)
- Annual, intermediate and special surveys of floating dock cranes.
- Making annual, intermediate, special survey class surveys of the floating crane.
- Port surveys of floating crane and tugboat
- P&I surveys of floating crane tugboats and deck pontoons.
- Port surveys of deck pontoons.
- Controlling / surveying of floating winches
- Technical/operational inspection / control of floating docks
- Planning the movement and work of the barges within the shipyard
- Maintenance of the barges within the shipyard
- Organization of berthing, departure and shifting maneuvers of ships entering and leaving the shipyard
- Setting and keeping records of working and resting times of dock crew, dock operators, mooring crew and floating crane personnel
Onboard of Oil/Chemical Tanker, a trump vessel engaged in Northern Europe-Mediterranean, Black Sea, North Americas routes. In charge of maintenance of all safety equipments,weekly and monthly inspection of them. Training the all crew according to company training plan & Shell Resilience Training Program. Assisting to Chief Officer on loading/unloading /tank cleaning operations of the vessel during Port stay and at sea with use of Delta Load-C Loading – K load & Miracle Tank Cleaning program guide. Familiar with Saab , API , Honeywell tank radar systems.Nominated officer for vessel’s ISPS officer. Reporting the accidents,incidents,near misses and failures of the ship during the voyage.Keeping up to date of vessel’s planed maintenance system.And In charge of Medical assistance onboard.
