I worked on the incoming calls centre of laboratory workers operating scientific research equipment.


The calls were to log in detail the errors the equipment was giving, then to pass it correctly onto field engineers. After a verbal resolution was achieved, i was then to order the parts needed from instruction of the engineer.

Once the parts arrived, I then had to schedule an visit to the site by the engineer to fix the equipment and arrange for the parts to be shipped to the site.


The visits sometimes included organizing flights and hotels for the engineers.


I was handling 15 engineers and up to 40 customers at one time.

Additional Information

I am a hard worker who will always offer my best to any employer or customers I may encounter. I will go above and beyond to solve a problem to a customers satisfaction.

I have 2 children of school age and my job now is remote, with flexible hours but only in the summer season. I am looking to supplement this with another job all year round, but with flexible hours.

I am not an extrovert, so I wouldn't be suited to a cold call sales job, but I am more than proficient in dealing with enquiries that could turn to sales or orders.

I would also greatly be interested in data entry work.
