Halil İbrahim BACACI

Halil İbrahim Bacacı was born in İstanbul in 1979. He graduated from GalatasarayUniversity Law School. He also studied his master's degree at Universite deFranche-Comte and University of Indiana. He is the main shareholder of BacacıGroup, a family company that started its journey in the 1980s with food wholesaling. In 1985, Bacacı Group made new investments by importing productionmachines from abroad to open up to world markets and increase its competitiveness. In 1997, the Company Group entered the construction and real estate sector, participated in qualified construction projects, and rapidly increased its experience in different sectors.

In the early 2000s, when the focus was back on food wholesaling, Mr. İbrahim Bacacı took his place in the management seat of Bacacı Group. After the major steps taken towards industrial investments in 2010, the company continued to grow every year with a vision of adding value to the future. Under the management of Mr. İbrahim Bacacı, Outmedya and Panout companies joined the media sector with a visionary perspective in 2016. With its impact and services in the business world further diversified, Port Teknik Yapı, which operates in the construction and building sector, was established in the same year.

While Port Mobile distributor company started to provide services in the telecommunications sector in 2020, Cargo Business expanded its service network with Port Filo companies in the corporate fleet leasing sector in 2021.

As the Chairman of Bacacı Investment, Mr. İbrahim Bacacı, who evaluates investment as an opportunity not only to grow but also to create new areas and develop, has transformed the brands and fields of activity under his management into investments that create new values and increase their impact area by taking into account the dynamics of the market, consumers, and the sector. With this vision, he managed to become a major player in the fulfillment sector by establishing Jet Depo and Jet Way companies in 2023. In addition, by establishingSürat Logistics company in the cargo business, it has brought another dynamic and innovative company to the logistics sector with a new expansion.

The successful businessman, who is an art collector, has a rich collection consisting of the works of leading calligraphers of hat art such as Ahmet Refet Efendi andMehmet Şevki Efendi. Mr. Bacacı also has another collection consisting of paintingsby famous painters such as Ahmet Güneştekin, Amadeo Preziosi, and Alfred Bachman. Establishing an art gallery to open all these works to the public is among the top priorities of the art-loving businessman.

Halil İbrahim Bacacı, is married with Mrs.Şeyma Bacacı since 2004. Mrs.Bacacı continues various charity activities voluntarily. They have three children named Zeynep Naz Bacacı (born in 2006,a student at 12th grade), İsmail Bacacı (born in2008, a student at 10th grade) and Elif Neva Bacacı (born in 2014,a student at 4th grade). Their children continue their education in Bilfen High Schools.Mr. Bacacı, who loves to travel and visits various countries around the world with his family. Mr. İbrahim Bacacı speaks Turkish, English, and French.
