C programming


Hakan Altun was born in 2003 in Istanbul. He is a 3rd-year student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering (English) at Istanbul Aydın University. Throughout his education, he has taken part in internships and projects to support his theoretical knowledge with practical experience.
He is the principal investigator of the project titled "Platform Assisting the Conversion of Hydraulic Energy into Electrical Energy", which was accepted and funded by the TÜBİTAK 2209-A Program. The project aims to convert the potential energy from the downward motion of elevators into electrical energy.
As an undergraduate student, his paper titled “Effect of Evaporator Capacity on System Performance” was accepted for presentation at TESKON 2025, one of Turkey’s prominent HVAC&R congresses. The study was conducted with Prof. Dr. Ebru Mancuhan, Prof. Dr. Hasan Alpay Heperkan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Deniz Yılmaz, and his classmate Burhan Aksakallı.
He has been actively involved in Istanbul Aydın University’s ElektroAydın (electric vehicle) and HidroAydın (hydrogen vehicle) teams, which have represented the university in the Teknofest Efficiency Challenge competitions since 2011.Additionally, he participated in the intensive 42 Istanbul piscine program, where he improved his C and Shell programming skills and developed his algorithmic thinking.
