I did my second internship at Baymina Energy Facility, focusing on heat and electricity. Baymina generates enough electrical energy to meet 100% of the electrical energy used in residential buildings in Ankara. In this facility, I had the opportunity to observe how natural gas, which comes as a raw material, is transformed into electricity through certain thermal processes.

I did my first internship at Coreal Aluminum Factory. During my internship, I had the opportunity to act especially with the masters. When a machine part malfunctioned, it was a tremendous experience to act together with craftsmen who knew the job. I stayed in quality control for a week and prepared a certificate. While preparing the certificate, I had the opportunity to examine and learn about the quality assurance systems ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, ISO 50001. Since Coreal is an exporting factory, I also had the chance to observe how business relations with foreign countries are maintained. Out of curiosity, I visited every department within the factory even for a short time and had an idea about the field. I was lucky, this factory offered me the opportunity to experience my theoretical knowledge in practice.

• I had the chance to work alongside mechanical engineers at a construction site within Erciyes University. I applied to the Department of Construction Works for voluntary work and was accepted. I observed how they work on many issues such as determining the machinery and equipment requirements in the construction project, ensuring that the piping is installed correctly. I learned the answers to many questions I was curious about while working. I learned a lot as a result of my construction site experience. My duty at the construction site was as follows:
