I worked as Electrical Engineer Intern at Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, Izmir Water and Wastewater Direction General Directorate (IZSU), Department of Machine Replenishment, Electricity and Pump Station (I worked throughout 20 working day within the compulsory internship.

I learned a lot of things about Electromotor (Induction motors, submersible motor etc.), electrical panels, grounding and indoor electrical installation during my internship. I had the opportunity to know and use many devices and machines used in this working area.In summary, some of the skills I acquired during my internship are as follows:

• Analyzed problems and worked with teams to develop solutions.
• Communicated with engineering team to discuss methods to improve process and performance.
• Retested electrical products and systems to determine effect of modifications.
• Analyzed data from tests and simulations to identify areas for improvement or optimization.
• Prepared detailed reports on electrical systems and components for project review.
• Developed and implemented preventive maintenance and operational procedures for electrical systems.
• Participated in regular safety trainings to maintain an accident-free work environment during internship tenure.

During my internship, I was responsible for collecting and entering complaints from clients who purchased laptops through various e-commerce websites and applications. The data collected included information about the CPU, GPU, RAM, HDD, and SSD. Upon completion of the data collection, all gathered information was analyzed using graphs and diagrams.In summary, I can say that some of the competencies I gained during my internship are as follows:

• Maintained strict confidentiality while handling sensitive client information according legal regulations.
• Reduced errors in reports by thoroughly reviewing entered data and making necessary corrections before submission.
• Increased efficiency by automating repetitive tasks using Excel macros and formulas.
• Developed strong attention to detail skills through the constant review of entered information, ensuring high-quality results.
• Checked for accuracy by verifying data and records.
• Converted raw datasets into meaningful formats by performing extensive pre-processing activities such as normalization and transformation.
• Analyzed user concerns, requirements and requests for system features and uses.
