Procurement Engineering for WQ1 Major Tie-ins DS7 Facilities Project

Procurement engineering works, completed by in-house resources, as part of main construction contract for Basra Oil Company & Exxon Mobil Iraq Limited.

Detailed Engineering for Railcar LPG Unloading & Loading Units

Detailed engineering works, completed by in-house resources under engineering frame work agreement with TÜPRAŞ (Turkish Petroleum Refineries) Corporation for LPG Unloading Unit of Kırıkkale and LPG Loading Unit of İzmit respectively.

Consortium with Spanish Tecnicas Reunidas (TR). Early Works execution such as engineering works for LLI (Long Lead Items for procurement) and site preparations while financial closure of the project is waiting for FNTP (Full Notice to Proceed).

EPC for Turkish Petroleum Corporation, Sakarya Gas Development Project [220 Mio USD]

Filyos Gas Treatment Plant (Phase I) with 10 MMSCMD in Turkey.

EPC for SOCAR Polymer PP – U&O and HDPE Projects

Act as official representative towards Owner, Subcontractors and, whenever necessary, local Authorities during the performance of all site activities. Also responsible for all Administrative, HSE, QA/QC, Construction, Project Control, Subcontract, Field Engineering and Commissioning as primaface to management for two simultaneous projects as such:

• 180 KTPA Polypropylene, U&O - Petrochemical Project [324 Mio USD]
• 120 KTPA High Density Polyethylene - Petrochemical Project [170 Mio USD]

The projects were carried out on a fast-track basis which led to 17 million man-hours w/o LTI.

EPC for 1500 MW Suleymaniyah Combined Cycle Power Plant Project – Northern Iraq. [424 Mio USD].

• Management of all contractual relations with client for timely completion of the Project, coordination of construction, commissioning and start-up activities, communication with engineering company (Bechtel) for detail design issues, communication with major vendors such as GE (General Electric), CMI etc.
• Business development for Energy Projects and technical support to Power Projects in North Iraq.

Construction for Khabarovsk Refinery Project (2011-01 – 2014-08)

Project Manager [122 Mio USD] – Russia.

The scope of work includes erection of several main units, which are the new combined Hydrocracking (HDC) and Hydrotreating (HDT) Units, Hydrogen (HMU) Unit and Interconnecting Racks.

The works for this “brown field” project include 5000 tons of steel structure; 2850 tons of equipment erection and insulation; 3250 tons of piping pre-fabrication and erection, painting and insulation, electrical and instrumentation works, as well as pre-commissioning activities.

EPC for 400 MW Yajva Gas Power Plant Project (2008-12 – 2011-07)

Deputy Project Manager [327 Mio Euro] – Russia

• Management of system & sub-systems handover from Construction to Commissioning groups at job site and then transfer to Owner including Russian Federation requirements such as RTN PTU (Permit to Use).
• Supply Contract Management of “Siemens Single Shaft Power Train (GTG & STG and their auxiliaries)” and “Atlas Copco Energas Fuel Gas Booster Compressors”.

EPC Project Development for 2500 TPA Qatar Polysilicon (2008-01 –2008-11)

System Turnover Group Manager – Sakhalin Island (2005-12 – 2006-10)

• Managed the Mechanical completion of all systems & sub-systems, including the closeout of the construction phases of the project in compliance with the project and regulatory HSE requirements.
• Involved the compilation and categorization of necessary documentation in accordance with Russian Federation requirements.

Inspection Coordinator based in Istanbul (2004-01 to 2005-12)

• Coordination of all inspection activities through area inspectors to release all project materials and equipment for shipment from the supplier’s works concerning care and custody purposes.
