Georgios (George) Gagalis

Primarily responsible to contribute in developing the short and long-term strategy for Beach Volleyball and to collaborate with the CEV leadership and management in implementing all initiatives around the sport.

Also responsible is also the event planning, management and administration of all Beach Volleyball events in the CEV territory and the representation of CEV during forums, meeting and workshops. This includes direct collaboration with the FIVB, the EOC (European Olympic Committees) and other international sporting institutions and the regular collaboration with CEV affiliated National Federations, CEV departments and the Beach Volleyball Commission.

Responsible to represent the department, overview the administrative operations and and for the day to day operation of the CEV Beach & Snow Volleyball department and to support both the Beach & Snow Volleyball coordinators in achieving their tasks.

Event Manager for major events including European Championships and Olympic Qualification Tournaments.

Preparation, coordination and daily management of CEV Beach Volleyball events and initiatives.

Collaboration with member NFs and other stakeholders.

Implementation of decisions from the CEV Board of Administration, Commissions and Working Groups.

Coordination of the workflow with other departments (Legal, Digital & Communications, Graphics, Admin).

Review and update of the CEV Regulatory Framework for Snow and Beach Volleyball;

Initiate, update and maintain the CEV Beach Volleyball procedures.

Responsible for the planning of all Beach Volleyball events and initiatives of the Hellenic Volleyball Federation.

Close collaboration with the leadership of the organisation in setting goals and objectives.

Responsible for submitting and monitoring the department's budget

Responsible for the management of the National Teams program in collaboration with National Teams Head Coach
