- The AI Research Commission aims to maximize the potential of AI technologies, strengthen the legal frameworks, and manage risks. In her capacity as a Commission Expert, she regularly participates in field visits and weekly commission meetings.
- She is currently co-authoring sections of the Commission’s ongoing Research Report on AI policies in Türkiye, ethical AI principles, and national and international legal frameworks.
- Contributed to the development of the legal and ethical aspects of the Turkish National AI Strategy (2021-2025) and played a key role in early-stage preparations for the National Data Strategy.
- Prepared periodic written opinions on the Council of Europe Framework Convention on AI and participated in online meetings as part of the Turkish Delegation.
- Made written contributions to international policy documents including those by the OECD AI Governance and the Council of Europe’s Human Rights and AI Working Groups.
