
My name is Dr. Fatih Yakar. I was born in Turkey in 1987 and graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2011. In 2017, I completed my residency at the same university. In July 2016, I worked as an observer under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Kadir Erkmen at Temple University, Philadelphia, USA, at the Bayer Pavilion Hospital. Since 2019, I have been working in the Department of Neurosurgery at Pamukkale University Faculty of Medicine, Denizli, Türkiye, focusing on Neuroendovascular Therapies. I also completed a clinical fellowship at Tohoku University Kohnan Hospital in Sendai, Japan, from January to June 2020. Since 2020, I have been performing endovascular procedures in my clinic, with experience in 900 DSA and 110 endovascular treatments. Additionally, I assist our department chief with aneurysm clippings. In 2019, I established a microsurgery laboratory where I conduct microanastomosis work.
