• Technical Skills Gained During Internship: Laboratory experience included observing and assisting in research on cancer dormancy and miRNA regulation in tumor progression. Gained experience in PCR, Western Blotting, and RNA isolation for gene expression analysis. Developed an understanding of molecular oncology techniques, particularly in studying miRNA-mediated tumor resistance and dormancy mechanisms.
• Conducted literature reviews to identify relevant research articles and support project objectives.

• Technical skills gained during the internship include Western blotting and cell culture techniques, such as passaging, thawing, and freezing of mammalian cell lines. Experience was gained in ELISA, BCA assay for protein quantification, cell polarization, immunofluorescence (IF) staining of rat brain slices, exosome isolation, SDS-PAGE, and PCR.
• Completed research, compiled data, and assisted in timely reporting.

• Laboratory experience included the implementation of stress models and handling mice. Various behavioral tests were conducted; additionally, drug applications were performed to evaluate their therapeutic effects on mice.
• Supported staff members in their daily tasks, reducing workload burden and allowing for increased focus on higher-priority assignments.
• Sorted and organized files, spreadsheets, and reports.

• Technical Skills Gained During Internship:

Under the supervision of a doctoral student, experience was gained in obtaining mouse brain slices via vibratome (performed individually), stereotaxic injections, intra-cardiac puncture, decapitation, and brain excision and Patch-clamp method. Proficiency was developed in ELISA, Western Blot, RNA isolation, qPCR, cell counting, freezing, passaging, and bacterial transformation.
