I completed my mandatory laboratory internship at the Antalya AKSA Enerji Natural Gas Combined Cycle Power Plant. During my internship, I worked on monitoring water and steam quality, conducting chemical balance analyses, and ensuring process safety in power plant operations. In the laboratory, I performed analyses on condensate, boiler feed water, and cooling water (pH, conductivity, hardness, silica, ammonia, chlorine, dissolved oxygen, etc.). Additionally, I gained practical knowledge of corrosion control, ion exchange systems, and chemical dosing processes, allowing me to better understand the relationship between water and chemistry in power plants.
