I started my internship in the laboratory where petroleum and natural gas derivatives were analyzed. Here, I completed several analyses alongside the chemist and field supervisor. Some of these analyses included chlorine testing, determining the water percentage in petroleum, particle separation using the centrifuge method, and identifying the fluidity properties of petroleum products using a viscometer.

Later, I learned about petroleum storage tanks, the importance of pigging in pipelines, the methods of transferring petroleum to ships, and how waste gases generated under temperature and pressure in ships are disposed of. Finally, I successfully completed my internship.
