After Effects

I'm a VFX Compositing Artist with nearly 4 years of experience, having contributed to over 40 projects across commercials, TV series, and feature films. Passionate about visual storytelling, I thrive in collaborative environments where creativity and innovation come together. I have advanced skills in After Effects and have recently expanded my expertise to Nuke and Unreal Engine through intensive self-training and online courses.
Over the past year, I've led a small freelance team, partnering directly with producers in Istanbul to deliver high-quality visual effects for film and television. This hands-on experience allowed me to take part in — and often manage — almost every stage of the VFX pipeline. I'm now eager to take the next step in my career, embrace international opportunities, and grow within a global creative community — even if it means starting from the ground up.
Leveraging my previous experience and strong professional network, I became a recognized figure in the industry. Alongside a close-knit team of six friends, I co-founded our own VFX company, where I took on the role of managing director. I represented the company in numerous client meetings and negotiations, overseeing budgeting, planning, and task allocation.
In addition to my management responsibilities, I continued to work hands-on as a compositing artist. I led creative discussions for complex shots, organizing brainstorming sessions to ensure the most compelling visual storytelling possible. This role allowed me to grow both as a creative and as a leader within a collaborative production environment.
At Mojo FX, I expanded my skill set by working on complex 3D compositing shots for the first time, gaining hands-on experience with multi-pass workflows. I became more familiar with tools like Nuke and Unreal Engine, and had the opportunity to work on Testament: The Story of Moses, a Hollywood production for Netflix US.
On this project, I specialized in blue/green screen keying, set extensions, and large-scale crowd and tent duplication for ancient Egypt scenes. Due to Netflix’s content policies, I couldn't include these shots in my showreel, but the international scope of the work gave me valuable exposure beyond local productions. It allowed me to grow significantly and deepen my understanding of many aspects of high-end VFX production.
I began my journey at New Folder Creative Studio as an assistant, but quickly grew into one of the studio's key compositing artists. During my time there, I had the opportunity to work closely with award-winning directors and contributed to numerous TV series, films, and commercials within just a year.
Although the workload was intense and often required long hours, I saw it as an opportunity to push my limits and rapidly improve my skills in a high-pressure, high-standard production environment.
