Emrah Taylan graduated from Osmangazi University, Department of Computer Engineering, in 2009. He began his nearly 20-year professional career as a Software Specialist at Alpata Software and Technology, working on projects with companies from both Turkey and global markets in sectors such as logistics, manufacturing, FMCG, e-commerce, banking, and retail. Throughout his career, he has taken on various roles in software development, project management, sales, and consulting, contributing to numerous successful projects.
Starting as a Software Specialist at Alpata Software and Technology in 2004, Emrah Taylan advanced to the role of Deputy General Manager by 2020. He also serves as the CTO of the OCTAPULL initiative, managing globalization and operational processes. His expertise in cutting-edge technologies, user experience, and artificial intelligence solutions makes him a key player in driving localization within the technology sector.
Emrah Taylan oversees the management of information systems for Alpata Group companies, providing consultancy and organizing operational management to support the digital transformation of these companies. He has led numerous projects focused on digitizing processes, optimizing operations, and supporting flexible working models for many of Turkey’s top 100 companies. He continues his extensive work in these areas.
In the public sector, Emrah has managed projects on data centralization, statistics, and big data in coordination with universities. He has taken on leadership roles in these projects, providing direct field support and guidance to his teams when needed.
