Emircan Demir

I am Emircan Demir. I graduated from the Department of Materials Science and Technology at the Turkish-German University with a high honours degree. I did my thesis on extreme plastic deformation and mechanical properties of materials. My research interests are aerospace alloys.

• TUBITAK 2209-B with Turkish Aerospace: I worked as a project assistant for 1 year in the project titled ‘Production of carbon nanotube reinforced aluminium composite material by powder metallurgy method and improvement of its mechanical properties by ECAP method’.
• TUBITAK 2209-B with ONATUS Engineering: I worked as the project coordinator of the project titled ‘Powder metallurgical production of CuCoNiBe alloy and improvement of its mechanical properties by ECAP method’ and successfully finalised it.
• CORNET(COllective Research NETworking) 123N314 with Fraunhofer IWU and Technical University of Dortmund: I worked as a project scholar for 6 months in the CORNET European Union project titled ‘Investigation of the Effect of Different Processing Techniques on the Edge Crack Sensitivity and Fatigue Strength of Cellulose-Based Cottonid Material’.
