• To transfer the sourcing petitions processed to the Lead Buyer
• To develop the necessary information related to the suppliers of his/her panel (current and potential) for the Lead Buyer in order to be able to elaborate and monitor each family strategy
• To develop a Purchasing reporting process for his/her responsibility field

• To assure that supplier quality system meets with FICOSA requirements
• To audit and evaluate the new suppliers, determining whether they have the tools, the organization and the required level of quality to be a part of the FICOSA suppliers' optimum panel

• To assure supplier integration into FICOSA System (Ficosa Development System - FDS, Ficosa Purchasing System - FPS)
• To assure design feasibility through CRT's & Drawings & guarantee process capability (quality & quantity)
• To meet program milestones regarding validation & approval components
• Component quality assessment to project team through both product & process FMEA & Front Load procedure
• To link the project team with the overseas suppliers managed by overseas STA

• Leads and manages Quality teams to drive the organization meeting quality goals
• Ensure the quality & robustness of the projects developed reinforcing the figure of the Design Quality Engineer and auditing the projects in the critical phases
• Ensures correct supplier selection for the new projects or re-sourcing activities (technology feasibility, capacity and quality)
• Improve the Quality of the suppliers panel in line with direction
• Ensures quality of new product launches (process capacity, control plan, quality wall...)
• Sets quality objectives for our plants, and sets quality goals for our suppliers (in line with Corporate Quality direction and Customers requirements), with regular follow up of results and recovery action plans when required
• Leads the deployment of Quality processes through all the organization (process audit, product audit, incoming quality, QCR management, visual management, ...)
• Leads and drive continuous improvement methodology through the company, with yearly quantified savings achieved
• Represents with customer management on quality related issues

• To manage the production programs for his/her area of control
• To assign the operators to the different job positions depending on their technical knowledge and skills
• To encourage and motivate the team under his supervision to achieve the production objectives
• To control and supervise the optimum performance of people, work places and equipments
• To ensure an appropriate administration and use of the consumption materials
• To watch over the fulfilment of the production and quality policy standards
• To guarantee the fulfilment of the Labour Health and Safety policies and procedures in the section under its responsibility
• To implement the necessary measures of budget control
• To report the Production Manager, or failing him, the Plant Manager about the main effectiveness and efficiency ratios of its responsibility area
