VIT (VakıfBank Innovative Transformation)

As part of VIT, a major transformation project that revamped VakıfBank’s banking infrastructure from end to end, I was responsible for investment-related modules.

BIST Data Package Project and Forex Integration

A system was established to deliver market data from Borsa Istanbul to investors in real-time, delayed, or end-of-day formats. This project covers the creation of various data packages based on market needs, their sale through all channels, automatic renewal, cancellation, and offering them for free or through promotional campaigns.

TEFAS Platform Project

An electronic fund platform that provides access to all investment funds through a single system. This project includes retrieving fund definitions and pricing data from Takasbank, enabling 24/7 purchase/sale/cancellation orders through all channels, transmitting orders to Takasbank, receiving order statuses, managing fund accruals, and handling cash and portfolio movements.

Development of the Electronic Warehouse Receipt Product and TÜRİB Integration

This project involves establishing the electronic warehouse receipt (EWR) module at VakıfBank, retrieving product definitions from MKK, managing issuance and physical delivery transactions, receiving buy/sell orders from the exchange, generating end-of-day cash and portfolio movements, obtaining price data from the exchange, and enabling the use of EWRs as collateral in agricultural loans.

Renewal of the Investment Accounts Dormancy Process

The project ensures that the last interaction date preventing account dormancy is kept up to date, publishes accounts with less than a year remaining until dormancy, and manages the transfer of cash and securities of dormant accounts to YTM until 2021 and to custody accounts at Takasbank and MKK thereafter.

KAD-SİS Project

This project involves collecting physical gold through jewelers authorized by Istanbul Gold Refinery and converting them into dematerialized gold deposits at the bank.

Withholding Tax Compliance Project

A project designed to ensure swift adaptation to changing withholding tax rates and regulations applied to securities.

Regional Leader, Young Guru Academy

I joined Young Guru Academy (YGA) and this project in 2009. Since September 2011 to February 2019, I worked as the regional leader of the project. I was leading a group of 100 university students and young professionals who are selected among 50.000 candidates that applied to YGA. Those applicants who have been selected as a result of 4 staged interview are weekly volunteer for cultivating social responsible leaders of the future, at 200 "YGA Creative Libraries" established in disadvantaged elemantary schools across 50 cities in Turkey. For the design and the
development of this distinguished program YGA and Harvard Business School signed a "Global Partnership" agreement.
