Gedik & Eraksoy is the Istanbul Office of Allen & Overy Law Firm. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the internship programme was conducted remotely. This internship provided me with an opportunity to learn about remote work.

During my internship, I gained valuable knowledge in various areas of law. As a final project, I gave a presentation on leveraged buyout models and the ban on financial assistance.

• Rotated across two different legal areas of Tort Law and Contract Law.
  My duties included researching various legal areas to share them with my senior colleagues, attending client meetings and taking notes, and drafting legal documents before sending them to my seniors for review. I have developed my communication and time management skills.

Translated documents between Turkish and English, attending court hearings, managing updates, and maintaining client communication. This role enhanced my understanding of work discipline and equipped me with practical problem-solving skills essential for my professional development.
