An ambitious pharmacist aiming to fulfill her dream of improving access to innovative therapies and creating a better world for patients. Throughout my education life, I have gained knowledge in a wide spectrum from the production of the drug to its delivery to the patient; as well as its use for the benefit of the patient, which includes preparation and production of drugs, bringing them into pharmaceutical dosage form, quality control stages of the drugs, and pharmaceutical patient care. Clinical research, side effects and pharmacological mechanisms, toxicological properties, and drug promotion are my areas of interest. I have gained experience in pharmacovigilance and adverse drug reactions. I also had the chance to complete my internships in various departments, where I gained experience in field, product managing, health economics, prescriptions and patient communication. Under favour of the TUBITAK project of which I am the manager, I not only gained laboratory experience, but also obtained extensive experience in experimental planning, scientific research and scientific writing.

- Responsible for following national and international regulations and guidelines on pharmacovigilance, maintaining and executing PV systems and processes, receiving adverse reaction reports, submitting and recording standard PV operating methods as necessary for review, preparing PBRERs and Risk Management Plans, collecting and archiving information on the risks and safety of medicinal products and updating information as required on the licensing side, ensuring cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Health, establishing verbal and written communication with domestic and foreign PV companies.

- During one-month internship, a chance to learn about reference and generic drug pricing and reimbursement systems, license applications, ministry correspondence and licensing processes was obtained. Reference country control studies and control of reference prices of drugs in the portfolio were carried out. A research study was accomplished to investigate the epidemiology, disease burden, cost-effectiveness and drug-drug comparison research conducted in Turkey for gastric and lung cancer.
