As a 4th-year dental intern at Biruni University, I actively participate in the clinical treatment of patients, gaining valuable experience under the guidance of skilled professionals. I am involved in diagnosing, planning, and executing a wide range of dental procedures, which allows me to apply the theoretical knowledge I've acquired throughout my studies. Working closely with patients, I have developed strong clinical and communication skills, enhancing my ability to provide comprehensive care. This internship has significantly contributed to my professional development and is preparing me for a future career in dentistry.

During my summer internship, I had the opportunity to observe and learn from an experienced dentist. I focused on understanding my mentor’s techniques, the materials used in treatments, and their approach to patient communication.

I closely observed how my mentor selected materials like fillings, crowns, and orthodontic tools based on patient needs. I also learned how effective communication was key in building trust, with my mentor clearly explaining procedures and addressing concerns in a calm and empathetic manner.

This experience helped me understand the importance of both technical skills and patient care, providing me with valuable insights for my future career in dentistry.
