As part of the SafetySight team, we developed an AI-based safety system in the field of occupational safety and health.
Our project aimed to provide artificial intelligence solutions that can instantly detect hazards in workplaces and save lives.

As part of our project, we created image and audio AI models using technologies such as YOLOv8, Faster-RCNN, RandomForest, Ultralytics, Pytorch, Tensorflow, Scikit-learn, OpenCV, Librosa. Using these, we developed features such as fire and smoke detection, control of the use of safety equipment (e.g. vests and helmets), detection of anomalous situations such as falls, and detection of screaming sounds, and this system was integrated into a website.

On August 28, we successfully presented this large project to more than 200 people, including investors and senior officials, at the conference hall in Teknopark.
We are preparing for the TÜBİTAK competition by developing this project.

I am a member of the software team at the Cumhuriyet Rocket Team, which is preparing for the 2025 Teknofest Rocket Competition.

Using C programming, we create codes and algorithms for functions such as the operation of the rocket, receiving location data, transmitting data, and opening the parachute according to pressure and altitude values.

I am on the management team of a large community with thousands of participants called TurkStudentCo, which contributes to the development of students by teaching them software and data science subjects, as well as guiding them and giving them training and tasks.

In this management team, I increased my leadership, teamwork, community and project management, planning and communication skills.

I improved myself and increased my software knowledge during my internship at CRM Holding. During my internship, I worked on data science and artificial intelligence. I also did many projects. Some of these projects are:

• Identification of Handwriting in Photos with Artificial Intelligence

• During my internship, I improved myself especially in back-end programming. I also increased my front-end knowledge.
  
• During the internship, I made personal web pages, weather pages, web applications, databases and similar projects.
  I improved myself in programming languages
  
  such as PHP, JavaScript, Java, Python, React, MongoDB, SQL, Node.js, CSS, HTML, .NET, C, C++, SQLite.

I spent my university life actively by taking part in many activities and events throughout my education. I am a member of our school's Artificial Intelligence and Software club.
