Derya Gök

Currently teaching in Medipol University's Foreign Languages General Coordination, delivering instruction to students from diverse academic backgrounds. Previously worked with medical students in preparatory classes there and currently teaching students from the Engineering and Architecture (ENA) departments. Actively involved in university speaking clubs, fostering a supportive environment to enhance students’ fluency and confidence in spoken English. Committed to student-centered learning and creating engaging classroom experiences.

Began my teaching career as an English instructor in the preparatory program at Okan University, gaining valuable experience in academic English instruction. Delivered dynamic and student-focused lessons to help students build a strong foundation in language skills. Developed classroom management strategies and adapted teaching methods to meet diverse learner needs. This role provided a solid foundation in assessment and fostering student engagement in an academic setting.
